I agree too.We all need to just get over it already and stop bringing in slavery into it.It goes both ways.Blacks don't like it when we say things to them when they talk like that to each other. If you know what i mean.My family is black and half Hispanic also.

Stereotyping and deep seated discriminations. I notice that a lot. A lot of blacks get really mad when they are the objects of ridicules or criticisms and sometimes, name callings. . But it's perfectly acceptable when they call each other the "n" word. What's with that?
It's very hard to accept others of different colors, and beliefs as our brothers and sisters in Christ. We should all have mutual respect and tolerance.
There is no such thing as a pure breed anymore. Variety is the spice of life. The white people is getting to be a minority and endangered species. Intermingling of races or hybrids make..... for better quality, stamina and stock.
You must be very pretty being a black Latina. Tall, long legs, like Imam; nice skin, and a sexy body just like Talia.

No one likes to be talked about, so regardless of who is talking, youre still going to get mad. And no one is going to stop talking about a certain race just because they do it.
AALL races talk about AAALL races behind closed doors.
Im getting a little sick of people harping on blck folks. We AAALL have our faults.
For blacks its RAP, for hispanics its Illegal immigrants, for whites its Collinbine type stuff as well as spitting out rude racial comments,
and thats just a taste of faults from each race.
I also dont know of any music that talks about white people unless its someone racial.
Everyone is sensitive about their own race, we all need to cut out the bad talk! : )

I am an Asian, and I agree with you. I get all upset whenever a white says something bad about Asians, Hispanics, and Blacks, but for some reason, it doesn't upset me when people call all Whites racists. It's wrong for anyone to talk bad about anybody.

Hey, I'm white and I totally don't get it. I'm not trying to be racist because I'm not (most of my friends are black and I like them better than some of my white friends) but black people often call themselves the n word, when someone white does it, they flip out. I don't get it. Well maybe because it's okay to make fun of your own race than some other race.

Thank you very much!! I am so glad there are people in this world that acknowledge this. Most of the time I find myself defending myself and asking the same thing. Being white, I thank you from the bottom of by heart that you are such an intelligent person. Thanks for not being ignorant and being a decent human being!! Take care!

It sounds like you are a very smart person. I wish no one would talk bad about anyone else. It's so counter productive to trash each other. If we spent as much time trying to understand each other as we do bad-mouthing each other, the world would be a much better place.
If you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all!

Hey - I am pale as hell blond chick who totally agrees with you!
I just don't think it's appropriate to disparage people of any race, and the only reason why others do it is because of pure ignorance.

because ppl think that unless others are like them, then they are weird, and thus talk about others to make them sound bad. or, if the person thinks that they themselves are different or something, they will talk about others to get the focus off of THEM. ppl get mad because they do not realize that they are doing the exact same thing, and when they get mad, instead of trying to shrug off the comment, they get even, which is worse. ppl need to learn that everybody is equal INSIDE, and not focus of the physical differences that the naked eye sees.

You're correct, it isn't right. Perhaps the reason it is excused is because there is a history of years of oppression and maybe a certain amount of guilt and/or embarrassment for this oppression allows society to excuse this double standard.
