The poison from the skin of the world's most poisonous known creature-the tiny, 1.5-inch, Golden Poison Frog (Phyllobates terribilis). An average P. terribilis contains about one milligram of poison, which is enough to kill 10,000 mice-perhaps enough to kill 10 to 20 humans if the poison reaches their bloodstreams.

This is one answer. Others think that the sea wasp is deadliest. Here is an interesting discussion of what "most poisonous means:

When creatures are rated for the “deadliness factor” there’s a couple of measures that are taken into account:

1) How many people an ounce of the creature’s venom can kill

2) How long it takes you to die from the venom after being bitten, stung, or stuck

In both cases the grand prize winner and world-record holder is the creature known as the sea wasp, or marine stinger. The name sea wasp is misleading because the creature isn’t actually a wasp or insect at all.

There is a difference between poisonous and venemous.

A poisonous animal is one that is, well poisonous. However, it does not deliberately go out of its way to develop toxins. For instance, the poison arrow frogs of south America are among the most poisonous animals in the word, even touching them with a cut hand can cause serious problems, even death. However the poison they secrete from their skin is a by product of the food they eat. When fed a different diet in captivity, they become relatively harmless.

Venemous animals are those that actively create poison, quite often for offensively rather than defensively. These include snakes and scorpions. The most deadly venom of any land animal I believe is Taipan venom, a kind of snake that lives in Australia.

However I believe that the oceans hold even more dangerous animals, and there is a type of sea snail who's cocktail of toxins has no antidote and means death to anyone unfortunate enough to get stung.

It is important to note that because all animals are different, not all venoms affect us the same. Also, the way the venom is administered is important. Examples being that domestic cats are relatively immune to spider venoms, even those which can kill a human. Snake venom, normally 'adminsitered' through hyperdermic fangs, can be swallowed without harm. Although of course, if you have any cuts in your mouth or a legion in your stomach, the venom may get in that way, so definately dont suck it and see.

I believe it is called a troika, a snake with a cobra type head, no body and a very small tail.

Found in Sahara deserts thats why the bediouns move across the desert with two poles and a sheet tied to them, when this snake sees the shadow he jumps from beneath the surface of the sand to attack hitting the sheet. Also the sheet helps protect from the sun but the headwear could protect also so it is mainly to protect them from these deadly troika.

As fast as the blood flows through the body and hits the brain thats as fast as the poison courses through the body and causes instant death.

if by poison you mean venom, that is the King Brown snake in Australia

if you mean poison, poison i think it's the golden poison-dart frog in the Amazon Jungle, Brazil

as a side note they call them poison-dart frog because Amazon natives stick them over a fire and rub darts in the poison on the frog's skin to hunt and for weapons
