Because I'm a little older than yourself, single parent with 2 children...and still (after 9 years) too insecure about the whole dating thing.
When I first became single my boys were still young and I really was afraid of the whole "meet uncle ____"..who would change constantly as I dated. So I didn't date, or go clubbing in case I had to 'handle the situation' without looking like a total scaredy cat heh..
By the time I'd got my head around the fact that this would not instantly make ME a loose lady, I was too shy to go out and meet guys! (making my interest obvious)

Now lol, I think I've just given up. I'm too shy, nervy and it wouldn't be fair to put that baggage onto anyone I met...and as most of my girlfriends are in relationships, they don't feel it right to go clubbing JUST to have fun and dance.

*Turns her speakers up, chair bops and continues looking for questions to answer*

I am probably not going to be out tonight. After working a 16 hour day...I want sleep. I do not get much time off (just Sunday). Need to relax...I'm only 31! Yes, the younger crowd is out in full force where I live...most of them get in by using fake ID's. It is their funeral if they get caught.

I would ask someone you can depend on to watch the kids just once a month so that you can go out. Everyone needs a break from time to time! You deserve it!!
Have fun!!
Good Luck.

If you're too old, I'm too old, I need a baby sitter too, and would love a night out. Am stuck in the house with a bottle of South African white wine for company. Cheers.

i`m 25. Did my fill of clubbing between 17 and 23. Prefer chilling and watching a good film with a bottle of wine.

i guess somewhere along the way i grew bored out of it and it lost its excitement. besides, right now i am a college student and between work and studies i don't find the time anymore. i guess i just became a boring person. and yes, even if we cant accept it and believe that America is still beautiful and innocent, our younger generations are destroying too many things that made me glad to be American
