If I were a liberal democrat running for office, then Alec Baldwin would be the LAST man in the world I'd want with me on stage! So my question to you liberal democrats out there is......when are you going to tell Alec "The Madman" Baldwin to stay home the next time he offers to host a fundraiser for you? Amazing to me after looking at some of these answers that some of you are actually DEFENDING the person Alec Baldwin is, simply because you are of the same political affiliation! Your biased knows no bounds! Even when it concerns an absusive father!

What a MORON! He does not know his daughter's age, he is laying the foundation for her drug abuse and bulimia illness down the road. Typical Hollywood liberal, no brains! Why in the world would anyone think he has something important to say? Bravo to Los Angeles County Superior Court commissioner Maren Nelson who temporarily suspended Baldwin's visitation rights. Let's hope it becomes permanent! He should be horse whipped!!!

Just because one man does something it does not mean all men are the same; that would be absolutely stupid and irrational to conclude this.

I also feel that Alec Baldwin is going thru a very stressful time in his life and he kind of unleashed his rage to the object of his affection, his own daughter. I think if he had to do all over again he'd take it back. I feel that he acted in foolish yet stupid anger and he knew he was being recorded and should have known the foreseeable consequences, so he was stupid for doing what he did.

I however, have always liked all the Baldwin brothers, namely Alec and Stephen, but no man is perfect and this was just one of those imperfect instances of blind anger. I don't think he thinks of his daughter as a pig, but how many of us have lost it once, twice or even more in our lives? Do we regret it? Most of us aren't public figures as Alec is therefore anything he does gets out and up front so quickly, esp. when you have an about-to-be ex-wife who is looking for anything to smear you regarding the on-going custody battle.

Who will throw the first stone? Have not we all said things that we regret and wish we could take back?

Huh? I'd have to be much more active and knowledgeable about politics -- and Baldwin --before I could answer that.

Nonetheless, it's clear that this is about two people who are using their own child as a weapon against each other, that much cannot be denied. And they are not the first, nor the last.

I heard the taped message from Alec to his daughter, on three different radio talk shows, today. His comments make think he is psychotic. I hope Kim's attorney and the courts do something to keep him away from his daughter for awhile. He could be dangerous.
I don't care about his politics. These are two separate issues. He is a known, outspoken, left wing loony. It is easy for me to tune him out when he is talking politics. But his rant against his daughter is scary.

i have come to the conclusion that he is a seriously sick person. first of all, he has a serious anger problem. the lashing at his daughter was just the frosting on the cake. i have heard him lash out at Kim, hannity, and various others. there are now actresses who refuse to work with him because of his immature spoiled and condescending attitude towards others. he needs to be knocked down a few notches.

I don't agree with anyone or support anyone that exhibits abuse towards a woman or a child. I would vote for a mindless idiot rather than support someone with an abusive nature.
