How much makeup do you wear for everyday things like grocery shopping, errands etc. or do you not wear any?

Sometimes I feel like I wear too much makeup to go out for everday things like shopping and other errands etc. Here's what I wear:
I do a full face application of Almay Smart Shade makeup, then I powder any shiny parts with a translucent face powder (usually Cover Girl), next I use some eyebrow powder on my eyebrows to fill in any bald looking spots. Then I apply only 1 shade of eyeshadow to my eyelids only (usually a med. brown eyeshadow). Next, I line my eyes with black liquid eyeliner, top of eye only along the edge of the eyelids and I try to make the line as thin as I can. (I never ever skip the eyeliner step, I feel naked without it). Next I do a coat of mascara and sometimes I curl my eyelashes and sometimes I don't (depending on how much time I have). Then my favorite lipstick or lipgloss and finally, depending on if I have time or not I'll use a little bit blush, but I usually skip the blush. Is that too much make-up to wear for going out to do errands?

i do my whole face...foundation, powder, eyeshadow, liner, mascara, lipstick or lipgloss...even if i`m just at home...i just luv playing around with makeup, it`s fun & i like to see how creative i can get!!! the only time i ever go outside without my makeup on, is when i`m going to the tanning bed...

For me it would be too much, but it's all about what makes you feel good. And it's not like you are using crazy colors! It probably sounds like more than it really is. As long as you are not heavy-handed in your application, it's probably fine!

To run errands I usually skip foundation and just use powder. Then I wear earrings and lipstick (I don't feel right without either of those).

The only time I do my eyes on the weekends is if I'm going out to lunch or out with my husband. I feel like I need to wear a "full face" at work to look polished and professional, so once the weekend hits, I love not having to wear so much makeup.

I would really only put on some blush and a little mascara and then some lipGLOSS and NOT ! LIQUID eyeliner ! like you said you feel naked with out it just put on some black or watever but not dark.......and if you want some eyeshadow but not much you don't want people to think that you have to be perfect... not that i;m saying you are so please don't take that the wrong way... hope this helps:) :D :B

Personally, I never wear makeup when I'm just going out to do errands. If I feel like I want a little coverage though, I use a moisturizer with a slight tint. I will usually wear makeup if I know I will be out for the night, like to a movie, or a bar, or a resturant. Everyone is different, guess it just depends on what you like to do.

well, youre probably much younger so you probably wear more than older women. when you get a little older & have kids & stuff like that - it really isnt that big of deal. i go places in a ponytail & just mascara. if ive scared someone i didnt know about it. i'm also not trying to look like a beauty because i cant, that's for the young girls. Anyway, do what feels right for you. Now, if you have a couple of girls telling you its overdone then you might tone the colors down & the thickness of the application. If i guy tells you, then he may just simply think youre beautiful w/o it because he loves you. have fun.

Wow! I use Cover Girl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner, dark gray or light pink eyeshadow, and shiny lip gloss. Oh yeah- Cover Girl TruBlend Whipped Foundation, too! It's really good stuff! Good Luck! And, yes that's overdoing it!

I personally do the same thing !!!! Oh My god !! LoL . I think appearance is very important in public. They way you look is reflected upon you and your personality. I would maybe , If you didn't feel well and had to absolutely go out, I would definitely keep the foundation and powder, mascara, and lip gloss. I do that sometimes. Very rarely though. You go girl !

i don't think it's that much, as long as it's not like totally tell u have make-up on. for school everyday i put on : mascara, eyeshadow, eyeliner, foundation for any blemishes, (covergirl powder also, but only if i didnt get enough sleep), light colored lipgloss, with clear lipgloss ovr that. its important 2 look good all the time, not only sumtimes. u nvr know who u could run into.

Well, im not alowed to wear eye liner yet...until next year, so i apply an eyeshadow for lancome called honeydew. it has shimmer cream and pink together...really cute. next, i apply two coats of lancome lash lenghthinging mascara...it makes my lashes sky high and thigh which is really safisticated. but befor i put everything on...i wash my face then apply an even amount of face powder (minerals from cg). it only takes me like five minutes. then i just straighten my hair with a sedu straitghing iron. well. thats my morning rutien......oh...and i also brush my teeth! hehe!

wear what makes you feel pretty and comfortable...just try not to wear too much powder or you'll look chalky. some peoples skin is better with out makeup than others so they look good plain faced or with minimal makeup on. others need some help with foundation to even things out. if the barn needs painting , paint it. so, its really up to you, and what you feel best with. personally i wear make up everyday ,everywhere. it protects my skin from the elements outside . just get really good makeup like mineral makeup or non comedegenic makeup that wont clog pores. there is good makeup out there and bad. so do your homework and find a good one. good luck. and i am sure you look beautiful.
