Again, for the liberal whining faithful, here is the EXACT quote.
I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and — you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows — (know) this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything as indicated by the extreme violence in Iraq yesterday," said Reid, D-Nev.

Although attempting to ultilize mind reading techniques that the leader of the pelosi/reid regime has apparently acquired in the last thirty days would seem admirable, additional questions arise from that "clarivoyant" statement.

1.) What possible use to the american public is an evaluation of the events of iraq based on one day to conclude on the whole war. If, for example, today had lessend or a lesser amount of violence, using the same absurd template, are we now to assume that the war is in our favor?
2.) As Bob Gates has been crystal clear from the beginning, what part of the enemy will follow us here is Mr. Reid confused on?

yes like the PREVIOUS 4 years have gone so well...the Iraqi people are leaving or forced to relocate...the forces we've been training are doing so well that it requires an additional 30000 troops...there are 48,000 contract security troops in country some making as much as $30,000 monthly (we're paying that thru contracts with the government)...there is a total 120,000 civilian contractors providing services our down sized Army no longer does( or can't because of lack of personnel)...It's nearly 1500 days now since w claimed "mission accomplished"....we're building huge permanent bases all over the country...the body count and wounded totals of the contractors isn't included in the OFFICIAL body count of US forces ....
