NO!!!!!! I also rec'd one looked it up on line and several
sites advised it's a scam. In the letter it mentions las vegas
british columbia the phone number is no somewhere in nova
scotia and the check was written from a bank in colorado.
DO NOT CASH CHECK!!!!! YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR PAYING BACK THE BANK. IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, WELL I HOPE YOU KNOW THE REST

Probably not. When i worked at a credit union I saw a few scams like that. I would take it into your bank or credit union branch manager, so they can be aware of the situation. They'll be able to help you, and let you know if its real or not.

Absolutely Not!! It is a scam. The check they send you is supposed to help you pay for "fees" to insure that your "winninigs" get to you. The check is fraudulent, & will not clear. You will then most likely be charged a returned check fee from your bank. Do not try to cash it.

Read the fine print on the check very carefully. By singing it, you may be making promises you ordinarily wouldn't make.

It could be a contract you are signing...DO NOT deposit it..dump it ...you will be held liable if you deposit it even if you tell the bank manager you think it might not be good....dump it..
