It depends, for a more heavy coverage (which is what I think you want) I would definetely suggest MAC. They have tons of different colors and great foundations, primers, powders EVERYTHING you could ever think of. Also, the people that work there are very helpful they will suggest the perfect one for your skin.
Now if you're looking for something on a lower budget L'Oreal Cashmere Perfect is the best. You don't even need a powder to put over it because it dries matte. But if you still want a powder I would suggest a loose powder. (Maybelline and NYC make good loose powders).
Hope I helped =]

I really like Physicians Formula mineral makeup. There is a foundation and loose powder to go over it. The foundation is great because it has a heavy coverage. Also, it's hypoallergenic so it is good if you have sensitive skin or breakouts. It's the best I've tried so far and I have acne scarring as well.

Depends on your skin type.
If you have European skin, use European brands like Clinique, Chanel, and Lancome. I prefer Chanel out of all those.
If you have Asian skin, use Shiseido products.
If you use something that is made from a different continent from your skin, don't use it cuz it is not good for ur skin. Ir'll cause irritations and won't work as well as it does on the same skin type it is meant for.
