Do I need to buy support arms? Its a small to medium size one. How do I prevent it from being pushed or falling out? Thanks.

It would be better to have a support on the outside. Most window AC units have a flange that goes up against the window frame on the inside. Should be holes in it for screws to attach it to the window. Make sure the unit is tilted towards the outside a bit so condensate will not fill the tray and run inside. On the same thought, make sure the condensate will not be falling on anyone below the unit (sidewalk etc)
