A woman will no longer have periods after a hysterectomy, although during the healing period she will have some bleeding.

It takes about six weeks to recover enough to go back to work, but it can take longer than that to start feeling like yourself again..

It will be six weeks of recovery. And you cannot drove for two weeks. There is no lifting. Every little bleeding after my hysterectomy. Lots of hot flash after surgery due to I didn't take my meds. After four months hot flashes are gone. You'll be okay. I was very concern about mine too. You should visit www.womentowomen site they were very helpful.

Absolutely 100% for sure....NO! It is never "normal" to bleed after intercourse. Go see your gynecologist that did the partial hysterectomy and find out what's going on.
