A nut house or a relationship or a thing you need to do? If it's a nut house, well, yeah.

There's nuts falling out of the trees all the time and they're not all in sanitariums, so it's a cinch they're not gonna admit all of 'em.

Matter of fact, those guys in the sanitariums make sense!

If it's a relationship, well, you're on your own. It's something you have to figure out.

Unless she's three hundred pounds, got a wooden leg, and plays a tuba. Even then there's no figuring.

If it's something you need to do, if it's becoming a cop, joining the army, or going into politics, then ... why would it be so difficult for you to get into a nut house in the first place, is what I'd need to ask.

Well we know much about the psychology of people that are a threat to themselves and others, code 5150. It's usually pretty easy to tell when someone is intoxicated, for example. Pupil response, quick diagnostics, etc. One exception is the elderly. Sometimes dementia can come and go, and it is hard to get someone committed. In general, when in doubt, the state will try not to commit someone. Sadly part of this is cost savings, but it's still a benevolent rule of thumb.

Or, did you mean something else?

Don't worry about it.

Don't do your homework if you don't want. You won't pass your course, receive credit and achieve things in life that others are able to do with an education.

You can call it commitment or a choice.

You are choosing not to do well in your homework.

maybe you are not afraid and have been sheltered from the reality's of life, plus does not have any responsibility's or maybe you are a person with a large ego and low self esteem, or neither you may need some love from some one who is interested, in you in either case press on

sometimes when a person does not feel loved & needed they become lax in their attiudes and abilities

The ACLU wants everyone to be free (out of jail) regardless of the consequences.

Psycho wards cost money and psycho's usually don't have money. The states don't want to pay because they're already footing the bill for jails (which the ACLU is against).

Think of it this way, when you do the stuff you have to do, then you get to do the stuff you really want to do. So, get your homework done, properly and then watch your favorite TV show, do internet stuff or just chill. Priorities, just get them in order.

We are committed when we are motivated. We are motivated when we are inspired. Find your inspiration in life. Find your purpose. Then you will be motivated and committed to doing what it takes (including getting an education) to live an inspired life -a life with purpose.

Someone has to pay for it, the hospital is probably worried about who will take care of the bills.

If they won't commit you, you're not trying hard enough.
Use your imagination.
