it would help if i could know the reason for the reaction. I need the info for my grammer paper I would love it if you could help

For the most part people and critics were very positive on her story, character, and the general flow of the plot line with its conflicts. Not everyone agreed however. Conservative Christians questioned the use of magic, evil and sorcery in a book for and about children. For them, this went against all Christian principles. Also, there were some critics who didn't like the books because they were perhaps too adolescent and didn't really address adult issues and had no real depth in the establishment of conflicts.

i have no idea...since i only became a harry potter fan about 4 years ago (books...movies, i have always been a fan). but untill the movie came out...i never even heard about harry potter and when the movie did come out....i could care less! My friends dragged me there and now...I love harry potter!

Well she took like 7 years to write the 1st book, then she took it to a agent, and was rejected, then the second one accepted, thinking that it had great potential, and after that it was history, and i swept the nation.

Some people didn't want them published, and after they were, many people chose not to read or buy them for religious reasons.

I'd say she was determined and she knew it was good so she didn't give up if your right your right. she wrote it on welfare and at coffee houses, perhaps she searched for better contacts and did a little editing along the way?
