Some states have no laws like that, and others have different ages. It all depends on the state you're in.

Some examples are:

Colorado: It is legal for someone to have sex with a minor between 15 and 17 as long as that person is less than 10 years older than the minor.

Delaware: It is legal to have sex with a minor between 12 and 16 if less than 4 years older than the minor.

Missouri: A person under 21 can legally have sex with anyone 14 or older.

Depends on where you live. In the U.S., each state has different laws about this issue. In many states, the legal age of consent is fixed, (usually somewhere between 16 and 18), and it doesn't matter how old the other person is.

Other states take a flexible approach: a minor in his/her later teens (15-17) can have "relations" with an adult (18 or over), so long as the adult is (i) under a certain age (say 24 or so), or (ii) no more than a certain number of years older than the minor.

Check the website below, but you're going to want to do some research. These laws carry serious penalties.

the 15 year old's parents can get the 18 year old into trouble, because at 18 you are considered an adult. It doesn't matter if you 2 where toghether before or not. But, here is the kicker if the two of you are having concentual sex then she can vowch for her side if they do try to take you to court. Hope that helps??

The years apart dont matter. Both have to be 18 or older to have sex.

No, unless you are married, it is illegal in most states for an 18 year old to have sex with an uderage person. It doesn't matter what you did before one of you was 18 - this is a jail-time offense.

if you are over 18 there can be as big of a difference as physically capable. An 18 year old can date and have sex with a 104 yr old if the 104 yr old is capable.

No, it isn't the regulation. Whoever informed you it truly is possibly needing you to imagine about how different human beings are in the adventure that they are years aside in age. it truly works for some human beings, yet no longer for others.

age differences are irrelevant, so long as both parties are of age, it's legal. a 99 year old can have a relationship with an 18 year old. creepy, but legal

What state are you in? That makes all the difference some states have more strict laws than others...without that info no one can answer your question accurately.
