I glad I am not the Geography teacher who has the both of you in a classroom.

Either you guys have a strange sense of humor or you are due to repeat Geography again next term. Try guessing "State" as the answer.

I would understand if you were from a different country and asked if it were a city or county (not country), but your asking about a country and you should know the difference between a country and a county no matter where you live and what you call states. Because I know in Ireland they have Counties rather than states and what not. But everybody has cities, villages, towns and what not. Since you don't know the difference between them (country and county) I would suggest you spend less leisure time on the "net" and maybe put the net to use and learn a few things.

California is neither a city, nor a country. It's a state. This would take all of fifteen seconds on a google search to figure out, as well.

I have no idea where calafornia is..... now California is a state in the United States of America.

But there is a California City in California and California's people and resources/economy is big enough to be a country.
