I like Cabot but if you are looking for the longest last make sure it is oil based and not water. Water dries fast but oil lasts longer.
To be on the safe side read the warning on all stain that contains oil as rags and trash not properly taken care of may become flammable.
Remember that the better you clean your deck the better the stain will soak in. Let dry well before staining
Good Luck

can no longer help with the stripping decrease back of the blunders yet ...... as for improving the look of the organic wood choose for a basic decking oil. it's going to make the wood look a splash darker till it soaks in yet shouldn't replace the same old look of the colour. Oil's sturdy because it is an user-friendly count to re-oil the deck each and each twelve months, you do no longer would desire to strip decrease back or resand. merely clean off any airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust or marks and brush on yet another coat of oil. I honestly have seen a mop/brush deck oiler at a ironmongery shop which helps you to mop the oil on and a small brush fixed decrease than it applies oil between the boards.

I used Olympic on our covered deck (hot tub surround), and it has lasted perfectly for about 7 years, now. Even the polyurethane on the handrails has started to peel, but the deck is perfect.
My ex-brother-in-law (and still good friend) is a professional painting contractor and he recommended Olympic, to me.
This reminds me -- I've got to get out there and sand and spray the handrails, soon....

CMF-UV is a good one. You can even spray it on with an airless sprayer if you want to.
