Three hundred U.S. Marines? Yes, I have no doubt they could handle it.
However, I must be mis-informed. I thought that Jana Fonda, Tim Robbins, Michael Moore, Sean Penn, and Al Franken said that THEY were going to handle the Iran attack.
No? You don't think so? Well among them, they've got BILLIONS! Certainly, they'd be able to handle an Iranian attack. Don't you think?
I actually heard someone say that Jane Fonda and her friends would probably make a mad dash for the French Riviera if the "stuff hit the fan" ... and stay there until things calmed down and the commotion was over. They wouldn't do THAT, would they?

Yes, if Congress let them have what they needed to do the job. The dems fought every military appropriation and then constantly criticise Bush for their lack of equipment, now they've cheered on the enemy by saying the "war is lost". So we wait and see who does the most obvious provocation to start a war. Or if Iran becomes a nuclear power first and starts bullying the whole hemisphere with his missiles and submarines. Iran is attacking now, but covertly as insurgents in Iraq and Afghanistan, possibly even Pakistan, they are defintely supplying the arms (but then so is Russia and China, and France's 10% stake in Irans nuclear program doesn't help).

No, It would take much more, Do not believe the movies,
a war with Iran would destroy both countries, the marines have
a long history of abuse, Vietnam, Nicaragua, El Salvador,
Panama, in all these countries, Marines have killed innocent
people like they are doing in Iraq. Remember what happened
in Vietnam and now Iraq. The U.S.A. has lost these wars.
The U.S. Marines lost in Vietnam, Cuba and El Salvador.

300 was a movie that was not factual and in
truth it was part of the propaganda aimed at the
next target in the U.S. crosshairs: Iran.
The movie was entertaining but I would never want to
put Marines in harms way unnecessarily.
Marines are the most discipline soldiers I have ever met.
But I wouldn't even want to risk one of them
for a battle that is not going to happen anyway.

Iran has an army of over a million. That would be 3333 to one. Even if Iran were arming its troops with bows and arrows you'd still have trouble against odds like that.

Israel is more likely than Iran is to attack the US. Unlike Iran, Israel HAS attacked us before (USS Liberty and the Lavon Affair).
Israel is likely to have played a part in the 9/11 attacks too. look up:
