I got 2 in 2 days! almost had me on the first one. the second one I was able to track down with whois.net and sent him a nasty email. Always check that the address you go to is really paypal.

i get them with alarming regularity. make sure you always report them no matter how many you get. send to spoof@paypal.com - the only way they can be stopped is if we report them

also, never follow a link, instead log on to your paypal account through the real webpage and go to your profile - or whatever it is the 'paypal' email is telling you to do - don't trust any emails these days

it's the same with ebay, i've had loads of fraudulent email from non-ebay people and they look SO real, it's scarey!

in case you made a present day purchase it may desire to be for genuine. There are plenty and a great number of scams obtainable for paypal. in no way click on something in an digital mail, fairly only circulate to the genuine internet site and do any employer or correspondence from there. lots of the paypal and ebay scam mail is from evil human beings, and it seems precisely like genuine mail. maximum human beings won't be able to tell the adaptation. do only not respond to any of it.

I haven't received any lately, but when I do, I always forward them on to spoof@ebay.com, as they appreciate knowing this. They can track them down, I can't. And like you, I got fooled once. Once is enough. I either spam them or "spoof" them.

Edit: Sorry, I said ebay. I meant PayPal. I've gotten them from eBay, and I do the same thing with them.
