Republicans live ugly lives, actions and words have a way to surface to ones appearance.

Aesthetics and face vale/surface is about as much substance as the democrats seem to have. I didn't agree with Sen. Moynihan, but you knew he was sincere and passionate on matters (when he wasn't doing a puppet dance on stage for teh DNC anyways), but he had "substance". I'm waiting to see if Obama does or if he's just going to use being an "outsider" and play the race card. And maybe their angry because teh mainstream media is always against them, just the subtle words the talking heads use in describing what was said. Democrats "say" republicans "claim" or "insist", a rep must substantiate their facts, they can never falter in morality/ethics, they must be able to PROVE their innocence of anything Al Franken, Jim Carville or Bob Shrum invents. And yes, they are no worse than Rove or Libby, but I wish they would drop out of sight too. We need issues discussed, and solutions, not criticism and hypothetical solutions that will never be tested anyways. has either party done anything but lob the same old slogans back and forth like "abortion" or "tax the rich" etc.? They won't do better unless the people demand it from their parties and candidates at every level. I live in a small town where they have a "union caucus" and decide who will be the candidate for office, and in a county where they share power by dividing up job appointments and contracts but pretend their party platform makes a difference. Guess I sound angry? I'm a republican, I may not expect any better from other political parties, but I do expect better of mine. Our expectations have become too low. What a candidate looks like, whatever race or sex they happen to be born, has nothing to do with their value as a person and as a elected leader, I wish people would keep that in mind when they vote.

Republicans probably appear angry to you often because you offend them with quesitons like this. Assanine premise.
That being said, I for one am an attractive, bright young woman, who teaching college no less....a walking contradition for someone like you. I'm not an angry person...actually quite chipper. This is the problem with generalizations.
This will be tricky since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but here goes. I'll begin by saying that if you look at the pictures of some current politicians in their younger years, they could have been considered quite handsome to a young lady like yourself. The President himself was a looker back in his letterman jacket in college, as was McCain, and those are just big names. In fact, I know plenty of attractive republicans personally (I mean, check the military men you know...mmm men in uniform), but I'll name just a few famous ones to you.
Attractive republicans/conservatives:
Ann Coulter
Laura Ingraham
Laura Bush
Jenna and Barbara Bush
Bo Derek
Michelle Melkin
Arnold Schwarzenegger
These are few among many. I'll come back and edit this post as more come to mind.
Perhaps it's best to refernce Churchhill's famous quote about age and political persuasion, stating (paraphrasing) that if you're under 25 and not a liberal, then you have no heart, but if you're over 25 and not a conservative, you have no brain. Perhaps you're just basing beauty on age. Or perhaps you are basing your references on Hollywood, which overfloweth with the brainless beauties.

Dumb question. People are people. There are Ugly and Attractive people that are Democrats and there are Ugly and Attractive people that are Republicans. The difference is this: Democrats do ugly things to this country.

Let's see... what's the difference between happy and beautiful Mrs. Clinton and never smiling and ugly Ann Coulter?
I'm being sarcastic. Have you ever seen Clinton in a bathing suit? Can you say cottage cheese? All Rebublican women I know are pretty and always smiling because their eyes are opened!

The only reason that "all" Republicans are old, or ugly is because all of the movie stars who publicly announce what political side they are on want to be liked by the new generation, and ,sadly, too many of the new generation are bleeding heart liberals.
P.S. I am 13, not an old woman.

it's a matter of likes and attraction.. for example, you are probably not going to find any gold grilled, pants hanging down to the knees, uneducated, tattoo ridden sacks of meat that are republican.
