I can't speak for other families, but personally, I don't think he deserved the airtime. This is exactly what he wanted and of course, the media is giving it to him and most of America is glued to their televisions.

Even more than that, the victims should be the ones getting the airtime. The media should be memorializing and honoring them. We have lost some of America's brightest minds, a whole chunk of our future, and we will never know how deep the loss truly is. These people deserve respect and the media should giving it to them.

Even worse is that other mentally disturbed people are watching this. They are forming opinions based on the actions of one of the sickest minds ever. Other sick people may be looking up to him, plotting and planning.

A better question might be: Why aren't more people upset that they showed this video?

I think the real issue is being upset about the fact that we have not been informed whether or not Cho was taking psychiatric drugs at the time he unleashed his violence; but even if he wasn't, he might have been tipped over into violent madness weeks or months earlier by a drug like Prozac, Paxil, or Zoloft. He could also have been undergoing severe drug withdrawal. Investigators should set a high priority on obtaining and publishing Cho's psychiatric drug history. http://discoveries.typepad.com/my_weblog/2007/04/are_school_mass.html

Somethings are too upsetting to see. I think I would rather have psychiatrists and criminologists see and analyze the videos and writings rather than the general public. It would have been more production and appropriate.

I cant even anser this question without getting upset. They all know that if the students were actually allowed to observer their second emmendment right then their loved ones would most likely not be dead today. Keep allowing our government to chip away our constitutional rights and see where it gets us. Hell, why should they [politicians] care? They have armed bodyguards. GIVE US BACK OUR RIGHTS VA!

they don't want him glorified, but the father of a boy killed at Columbine says we need to show it so we'll know what to look for so there won't be a next time.
