I think it is making people incredibly stupid and dull to all that is of moral and artistic value. I mean, if one thinks it is normal to sit fascinated as some attention seeking fool picks at his toe nails, then something is definitely wrong with that someone...now, a whole nation behaving in the manner of that one - now that is a disease.

I think you're giving it too much credit.
For it to have such serious effects, it would have to be something more than just incredibly lame. And that's all "reality" TV is.
