the amount of ethanol in weight in a liter is

0.032*0.789 =25.24g
one liter of the solution has a weight of 993g

so the amount of water is 993-25.24= 967.52 which corresponds to a molarity of 967.52/18 =53.76mole

for ethanol the molecular weight is 46
so 25.24/46 =0.55 mole

the molar fraction of ethanol is 0.55/(0.55+53.76) =0.01 =1%
