Why do you think GWB does things that he knows none of us agree with? He should listen to America...though I guess it's hard to listen when your fixed on getting your hand deeper into big business' pocket. Whats your take?

He doesn't listen because he is a spoiled little rich kid.. who for some strange reason thinks he and only he .. knows what is good for America.

A man who can barely string 5 words together and make sense seems to feel he is appointed by God to lead the people.

And as it is with most dictators, he does not listen to anyone.. he thinks he's right and that is the end of it. Notice also, how he really has no sense of responsibility for all the death and destruction he has caused. Still jokes about it, chuckles that he is hated. I am not sure if he is retarded or just plain unfeeling.

Bush has shown time after time that he could care less about the American people. He has even made comments that he didn't care if only his wife and dog supported his war in Iraq that he would stay the course.Of course stay the course was another of his numerous failures. His main interest is making his rich friends richer. He is a very selfish man.

Because he cares more about his 'leagcy' and the 'judgement of history' than he does about his country and the good of its people.

And by doing that, he's pretty much assuring that his legacy will be a nation weakened by his presence, and the judgement of history will be harsh and unflattering. Nobody's opinion of Herbert Hoover has changed much since 1929.

I think he does it not only for big business and personal reasons, I think he also does it to hide and deny his failures.

Of course I'm not denying he had successes too.

"none of us" would include me. So your question is inherently wrong. I do agree with the things he does. I'm a part of "America" and have nothing to do with "big business".
