I consider myself a conservative and I get upset at Republicans. The last 6 yrs of uncontrolled spending pissed me off.

Oh, I've been plenty upset with both Bush and the GOP Congress over issues.
I don't disagree with the majority of the GOP party platform, but more with the failure of the elected officials to live up to that platform.
The GOP spending was sickening, and I became completely fed up when DeLay said that all the fat had been taken out of the spending bills, an outright falsehood. Many Republicans were very upset at that.
Many of us were upset with Bush's steel tariffs, with his educational program, with the Medicare prescription entitlement, with the nomination of Harriet Miers, with the failure of Congress to enact Social Security reform, the failure to make the tax rate reductions permanent, etc.
There was lukewarm conservative support of the GOP in the 2006 elections because of their arrogant abandonment of all the principles that got them elected to the majority in 1994.
No, not happy at all. They don't seem to have learned their lesson, either.

I am very upset with the Republicans for not facing the Immigration issue and spending policies that are as responsible as a drunken sailor on leave in Mannila.

I resigned from the Republican party prior to the 2000 elections after belonging to it all my life. I'm now a registered non-partisan which allows me to bash the hell out of both parties with a clear concience.

You're looking at a conservative who jumped the GOP ship in 2004 because of all the shenanigans.
The only Republican I'd vote for is Ron Paul.

I'm a true Republican and I am always upset with my party, I am sure the reasons are much different than yours.

I have lost some respect for Republicans.
They are becoming too Liberal.
We need a true Conservative to run for office, not the smacked down compromise seekers in DC today.

I've been pretty damned disgusted with *both* parties for quite some time.
That's why I'm a Libertarian, but I tend to vote Republican because I'm pretty conservative.

yes I have but it was back in the Reagan years that it happened and the father/son team Bush haven't made matters any better.
Clinton wasn't any bright ray of sunshine either. guess it's been quite a while since this country has had leaders of any quality in the whitehouse.

I was a Republican as of 2002, then I switched parties because of the extreme policies of the Bush regime.
There is no room in the Republican Party for moderates anymore.
