Check your local junior/community college. They will be able to go over every thing with you. If you already have some education, then your general classes might already be done. The length of time is two years. But this is a full two years and is usually a full-time status thing. (Meaning Fall, Spring and Summer classes with usually 12+ hours in Fall and Spring.)

Since this programs are in a high demand in my area, sometimes you are placed on a waiting list. The degree is usually an AS/AAS (Associates in Science).

You can get either an associate degree or certificate and it's called Radiologic Technology or Radiography. It is a full time (like 40 hours per week) 2 year program. You can do it either through a hospital or a college. I feel you get better training in a hospital program and for much less money. You can find more information here:

well i think it depends on where you live because some states require different things . i am going into the same field and you can go to a community college ( 2 years) .
