Yeah, that's messed up.

And then the white lions started pulled this black lion out of a semi-truck and started beating him down for no reason. Some innoncent lion off to the side took a video of it - and those white lion cops were beating that helpless black lion Rodney ruthlessly. Then afterwards, Rodney asked,"Can't we all just get along?"

And then that other black lion killed his white lion wife and her white lion friend outside of their home. But the glove didn't fit on his paw and there was a racist white lion cop named Furman who liked to use racial slurs when describing black lions. A great black lion lawyer named Cochran helped the OJ black lion be found not guilty.

And then there was this awesome black lion who was an incredible musician. He made some of the best music ever in the 1980's. But then this little black lion started bleaching his fur and he turned into a white lion and started touching little white cubbies. And the black lion Cochran helped this lion as well.

:-)

Lion King Racist

Have you seen The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride?

Yes, in the first movie, the dark lions were represented as evil and the light lions were represented as good, but in the second movie, both the light lions and the dark lions come together and live "happily ever after." Maybe that represents how no matter what colour we all are, and no matter what issues we have amongst one another, it can be resolved, and it IS possible for us all to come together in unity.

Yeah, I notice that too. Thought that was weird, it's like they are showing a good and bad thing about it. Good thing is their showing the lions not to hate them for the way they look, which is teaching kids not to be racist at the end, when Keira and Kufu reunite the lions and stop the fighting. But then their teaching kids to make sterotypes or racist ideas that being lighter is better but Disney probably didn't mean it that way. It just that they want them to look different then ordinary lions plus it was Scare's tribe too. Scare wasn't sterotyped like that, he was evil and they made him look evil.

Better write a letter to Disney. Not only do their artists have hidden sexual themes they have racist themes too. Why are all the toys in Toy Story, white, green and brown? Why no red, yellow and black? And how about Pocohantas? Why isn't Pocohantas, asian or african american or white? Do the artists only like native americans? Disney is sending a bad message to our children.

Yea, I'm sure the Disney board of directors sat in a meeting to discuss just how they could keep the black man down while they were planing the Lion King.

What is it that makes people like you see racism in everything? Wake up, you are the one that is making race an issue.

Yes. Light and dark. I was just saying this about Spiderman, the Lord of the Rings...etc.

They always do this. I am surprised someone else even noticed. I usually have to explain this.

Like in other Disney films, all the villains had dark hair.

I am black, even though I am light skinned, and I am not evil.

They probably based the color scheme on what actual lions are like. A lioness prefers a male lion with fuller lighter colored manes than those with darker colored manes. Just nature.

You're not the only one who noticed that!

And another good question could be, why is the only movie set in Africa about animals??

Oh, and to add another point...the dark lion was Scar (for those of you who are talking about the hyenas for some reason)...and the light lion was Mufasa
