Doubt it because the "green zone gate" sure as hell did not work and stop the bombing of parliament last week. All the wall is going to do is turn it into the "Sunni Ghetto" not unlike the jewish ones that had existed in Poland and other parts of Europe prior to the holocaust

I know Saddam Hussein was brutal but brutal toward warring factions and he did keep the peace in the country. He was a Baathist secular and he did not allow the Sunnis or Shias to start anything. Most of the horror stories of Hussein killing his own people were against the Kurds who wanted a civil war with the help of Turkey and the USSR and we supported Hussein.

Even the green zone doesn't work; and that's guarded by Marines. I doubt a gated community guarded by our local rent-a-cop would keep out terrorists.

Good old Bush... proves himself deceitful as always.. why am I never surprised.

Can't build the 'wall' that he promised between Mexico and U.S. But building walls in Iraq, with our money.. how nice for him.
