I was wondering what other states call their Underground Utility Locator Service.

In Ohio it's called OUPS. It really looks funny when you see a broken Phone Pole with the word Oups on it.

Miss Utility. She sends out a crew to mark where the lines are so that you miss the utility lines when you dig. That is here in Northern Virginia.

In Michigan it's called Miss Dig.

In Oklahoma it's called Call Okie

In Las Vegas, Nevada we use the slogan: "Call Before You Dig" and you are instructed to call the local power company- Nevada Power.

We call "Okie" before we dig in Oklahoma. They come and locate all lines / utilites before you start your project.
