It would seem highly unlikely, even if we were to assume that aliens of the extra-terrestrial variety exist at all. There are a couple of reasons for this. To begin with, Area 51 is not so secret any more. So many people now know about Area 51 and the supposed connection to alien activity that if I were in the military, Area 51 is the last place I would hide them. I would select one of the more obscure bases like Shaw AFB or even Wright-Patterson AFB. Second, there is a rule about any conspiracy that as the number of people who are aware of it grows, the possibility of it being leaked grows exponentially in relation. With a workforce of over 100, it's unlikely that anything would remain a secret for long.

What is more of a mystery, however, is what exactly are the beings (if they exist at all) that we call aliens? After all, they could be our decendants from many centuries in the future travelling back in time. If that's the case, and Earth is still inhabited in the future, then it wouldn't really be right to call them aliens, since they ARE Earth beings. Theoretically, they could also be from our own past. Many tales exist about the technology of ancient Atlantis being greater than own - again you couldn't call them aliens either. There is a fringe element of folks who believe in a hollow Earth that propose that beings inhabit the inside of the Earth itself - they definitely wouldn't be aliens - they'd be even MORE terrestrial than us. They could also be extra-terrestrial or extra-dimesional. My fascination deals more with who or what they are rather than where we keep them if we have them.

Nope. In fact, there's nothing out there anymore. Area 51, better known as the Groom Lake Testing Facility, is the place the Air Force used to use to test experimental aircraft like the U-2, the SR-71, and the F-117A stealth fighter. It was also used to flight test MiG and Sukhoi aircraft the Air Force acquired from, um, well, that's classified. The DOD had to close it because the UFO-mania surrounding Area 51 made it impossible to flight-test any new craft without hundreds of UFO-watchers taking pictures and video, so the place has been mothballed.

I don't think we'll ever truly know. If there is an Area 51, I believe the government is justified in keeping it a secret. Imagine the panic that would ensue if we suddenly found out aliens were on our planet? We can barely get along with each other and now we have to deal with aliens? :-)

maybe at one point in time but im sure the govt has moved them elsewhere. area 51 is pretty much just cold war relic now. white Sands in new mexico is the new place for testing secret designs for the military. I bet we will never know if aliens were ever captured by the military, the govt probably wont tell us. I think it's in society's best interest that we dont know the truth. religions would crumble over night and the world would fall into chaos. imagine if the foundations of our beliefs about our world were thrown out over night, people arent ready for such a change. we are happy believing the lies we are told. plus, the knowledge that advanced life is out there would cause so much fear and panic. if there are aliens, they are probably billions of years more advanced than us. the idea that they could take earth over at any time would turn the world upside down. we would live in so much fear that governments would be useless to control us.. just my thoughts on the topic.

Um, um, Damn, I don't know where to start, they're, they're gonna, um, they'll triangulate on this position really really soon. OK, um, um, OK, what we're thinking of as, as aliens, uh, they're extradimensional beings, that, an earlier precursor of the, um, space program they made contact with. They are not what they claim to be. Uh, they've infiltrated a, a lot of aspects of, of, of the military establishment, particularly the Area 51. The disasters that are coming, they, the military, I'm sorry, the government knows about them. And there's a lot of safe areas in this world that they could begin moving the population to now. They are not! They want those major population centers wiped out so that the few that are left will be more easily controllable

first of all when u think that our tiny blue pearl floats in the never ending ever expanding blackness that creeps all around us called SPACE which contains billions of other suns like our own ( we call em night stars ) in are our home galaxy alone! called the milky way NOT TO MENTION THE BILLIONS OF OTHER GALAXIES........

i am fascinated with the thought of life visiting us and we have no idea or control we think our of urselves as THE GREASTEST SPECIES and we would be less then helpless to any extra teresstrail lifeforms

my own out of this world experience was when i was in elementary school i was playn road hockey in the summer one night after which i road my bike home thru boler mountain which is a ski hill in the winter when all of a sudden w/out noise this bright bright bright blue light rose from the forrest and i stopped in amazement for im thinkin like half a minute then it turned instantly a glowing almost lava like red light and then it was gone and the sky was black lite up with stars ... this is all i remember.

also the key to unlock space travel is GRAVITY if u can minipulate gravity u can travel instantly with no fuel.. ( u create with in the gravity a distortion which if u like allows u to "slide downhill" in that distortion indefiniatly.
the so called recovered spacecrafts that are housed at AREA 51 are at this moment being retro enginereed to produce the above mentioned technology to advance the military. have u seen the black stealth bomber that was classified until recently is invisible to radar much like real unexplained UFO's and it just plain looks "outofthisworld"

No ... because it's a military installation, foreign nationals are not allowed in. The other kind of "aliens" have never been here.
