International terrorism is a matter for the intelligence depts and law enforcement.

Any candidate can handle it, once the decision's been made to recognize the basic situation.

If Bush had managed to do that much during the first nine months of his presidency, 911 would quite likely never have happened in the first place.

If he'd stuck with reasonable, appropriate responses (culminating in the Afghanistan campaign), instead of using 911 as an excuse to launch the Iraq campaign that his flock of sh!tbirds had been dreaming about for years already, the US would now be in a much better diplomatic, economic and strategic position, and the Islamic terrorists would have much less credibility with their own people.

My pick would be Edwards but that is not the real question. No one man has the answer. The real leader will gather the best and the brightest to devise a way to deal with fanatics. The present leadership has picked cronies and sycophants to inform him and that is why we are in the mess we are in today.

Out of all democrats Joe Biden is the best. He is the most astute about foriegn relations and policy in the party. Out of these three probably hiliary. I think she has the best balance between being though and knowing when to be more diplomatic.

Obama compared the shootings at V-Tech to Imus's stupid comment. Clinton Voted for the war, before she voted against it. And Edwards used $400 for a hair-cut, bought a playstation 3 from wal-mart ( even though he says he 'hates' Wal-Mart), and is going to run for president while his wife is dying of cancer.

None of them have the common sense to run a nation, tlak wiht brutal leaders, or connect with the people. They all will get us killed - and Israel with us.

Governor Bill Richardson has international experience as U.N. ambassador, and he has proven negotiating experience with foreign governments. His most recent trip to North Korea is an excellent example, but it is not the only example I could give.
