There are threatening text messages and voice mails on a cell phone that has been turned off. Is there a way to retrieve them? Need answers ASAP. No SIM card, but there is a place to put a memory card. Let me know if you need more information.

If the phone in question is your phone- you can access the voicemail by dialing your number and then pressing either the * or the # button ( i forget which one it is) and entering your passcode
as for text messages- you would have to call verizon to find out.

as far as the voicemails, you could try talking to verizon and see if they could retrieve them. Otherwise you can't retrieve the voicemails. The text messages should be able to be accessed just by turning on your phone. Now if there are any links to an image or anything, those may not be able to be accessed, but the message itself would

I don't think its possible after the phone has been shut off but you can try to call Verizon and see what they say.

as all phones are difrent its best to call the phone company whose phone it is also there usally not on your phone there on the service providers computer call them as well
