There is no such thing as a dumb question babe,

oly dumb answers to what you have asked.

Why did you not let me know you are sick, I would care for you and keep you warm until you are back on your feet again.

I feel bad now :( can I take away your sickness and kiss you better?

I think the structure of the league, which differs significantly from football gives rise to certain players being exceptionally paid, and two broad ranges of "journeymen" and "young" players. What I mean is, the NFL negotiates a TV contract and each team in the league gets an equal share of it. Teams only get more money from better local ticket sales and better local merchandising. Players only get more money from playoff appearances. Salaries are relatively closely grouped and better players and better teams get more, but not astronomically more. In baseball, the TV contracts are held by individual teams so the Yankees take in vastly more than the KC Royals do so they have more to spend. They can buy more players than say, the New York Giants, who can raise almost the identical amount to the KC Chiefs. This greater skewing of the market leads to a wider range of salaries. Also, the playoffs in baseball raise player salaries a pittance compared to their regular salaries. There is not the same drive to "just win baby" in baseball as in football. Personal glory can raise your salary more than being a team guy. So the teamwork ethic and spread of salaries is much different between football and baseball. This makes the stars in baseball appear grossly overpaid. That being said, I do think ARod's contract is a bit ridiculous, but Steibrenner signed it so, good for ARod.

It depends on what you mean when you say "shots of medicine." Jack Daniels, contrary to popular belief, has no medicinal properties.

I must have missed the dumb ones. Even they can be fun and that's what this is all about. There are other categories if you want to get "to " serious.
