Beer. My granddad used to drink that beer in the yellow can that just read "Beer". Let me tell you, I would rather get wasted off cough syrup than ever taste that crap again. :)

there's a few things I will spend the extra $1 on.
dishsoap- dollar store stuff seems like just water.
lotion- but it depends.
bandaids- I'll splurge and get ones that actually stick to my skin.
orange juice- cheap stuff taste like hospital or cafeteria stuff.
fabric fresheners- febreze only.
laundry detergent- tide only.
toilet paper/paper towels- cheap stuff doesn't do the job and it's rough.
My dad always says store brands are the exact same as the real brands and I agree for food but other products I don't agree.

For me it's mayonnaise. I'm sure I could come up with a whole list of things that I prefer name brands of, really, but amazingly there are times when the store brand of a certain item is actually better than the name brand...

Store-brand CANNED vegetables! Ugh! I don't know where they find that stuff, but it's like what's left over after the machines get cleaned or something; the quality's horrendous. I ususally buy fresh or frozen, but I tried the canned stuff a coupla times. Awful.

Tylenol, Best Foods Mayonnaise, shampoo & conditioner, &
DVD players (only well known quality brands for me. I bought a couple of the cheaper ones and they crap out in just a few months!)
