The Dems have no leg to stand on now if we secure Iraq enough for them to completly take over, and come home the victors. He knows who is over there. The US Millitary. Does he have IRAQ-NO-Phobia? The fear and loathing of victory in Iraq?

Joe M... do you know who Reid is up against? The US Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. He doesn't stand a chance.

I agree Vicki, they do have political issues, but it's much easier to work out politial issues when your cafeterias are not being blown up.

Success in Iraq spells defeat for democrats.
Im sure after such a time that we did pullout with a stable Iraq, this newest batch of mindless Bush-hating libs will blame anything that goes wrong in the region or a terrorist attack on Bush, as if he created terrorism.

You are braindead and are a member of the group that thought the war had been won when George Bush first announced victory years ago. When Britain and all the other countries pull out of your unwinnable war, if you do not follow their lead, with a large amount of haste, you will know one of the most embarrassing defeats of the last 100 years. You cannot beat an enemy you cannot see. I know your big headed American pride is hurt but you should give it up now and go home. The only thing you have achieved in the last 6 or so years, is that you have managed to steal a lot of oil from 2 countries that you invaded, with out proof of anything. The only proof of anything you have, is that grainy video of Bin Laden and even if it were true you had no right to invade Afganistan or Iraq. It would be like Russia saying America has weapons of mass destruction so we are going in there to get those terrorists who blow up their own twin towers. Exactly the same but only Russia would have grounds because 9/11 was an inside job and the US has the largest stockpile of nuclear warheads on the planet.

Apparently you don't keep current.Gates and Iraq's government meeting was a tell all for me.To quote Iraq's Prime Minister"The main problem suffered by Iraq is POLITICAL not a SECURITY one"So are we interferring in their governments Democratic rights to govern by sending in Security Forces?Seems to me the Iraqi's need to work this summer and fix those problems instead of adjourning for the summer while their country is being blown to bits every day.

The democrats hate Bush. So here is the playbook. If we pull out without victory Bush lost it for us. If he pulls a fast one and wins we will take credit for it. We will say if it wasn't for the democratic Congress forcing a date to pull out, Iraq never would have stepped up.
If we loose it is Bush's fault. If we win it is because of us.
That's the plan. Let the spin begin!!!

Harry Reid said "we're going to pick up Senate seats as a result of this war."

Sounds like politics to me!
I believe he will deeply regret those words, when he is shown as the dangerous buffoon he is.

Exactly. Democrats are so invested in defeat, once we win, they will be out of power for decades. They have undermined the war on terror since the beginning.
