I've heard people can come into contact with faeries at night and sometimes go with them to the land of the fairy. Can some one give me easy to follow instructions?

There are tons of ways to get to the land of the fae. One of the easiest to find are "tween places" this is a place that's "in between" other places; it's not really one place or the other (like a hallway, stairwell, doorway, window, the point between a path and the rest of the woods). There are also tween times. Noon, Sunrise, midnight, sunset. The places between light and shadow are also tween places. There are portals to the fae realms in each of these places. Usually its them coming this way, but the trained mind can go the other way as well. You may want to find a fae guide before you try. I've known people to get lost there for days at a time.... hope this helps

find a place that seems to you like a place faeries would dwell, a place from where one see or cannot hear traffic, civilization or anything human-made. meditate, get in tune with that place, first in the daylight before you try a night visit. Once the place is comfortable with you, it can be your ally for Contact.

When I was young my grandfather warned me not to walk into a ring of mushrooms because I'd be transported to fairyland... He said I might stay too long because time passes differently there and that they wouldn't want me to leave...

sit down. relax urself, close ur eyes and imagine urself in a fairyland surrounded by the fairies. It is the only practicle and possible way of getting into a fairyland

Disguise yourself as a fairy and sneak in.
That's what i would do anyway.
