There have been rumors about the Oakland Raiders shopping their WR's Moss and Porter before the NFL Draft, and im sure Brett Favre is still interested in getting Moss. Do you think he will be going to Green Bay and for what price?
Also some side notes for people opposing Moss: people say hes a cry baby and has lost a step and not the same player he was 3 years ago. Lets look at the facts:
2004: 49 receptions, 767 yards and 13 TDs while missing 6 games due to injury (and that performance against us in the playoffs, ouch!)
2005: 60 receptions, 1005 yards and 8 TDs in Oaklands horrible offense, still very productive and fast
2006: lets get something straight first, NO offensive line, multiple QB changes, and an out of date offensive coordinator, yet still managed 42 receptions, 553 yrads and 4 TDs in 13 games. Honestly in that situation, who WOULD want to play in Oakland on that offense?
I think itll be a great fit for Favre and Moss in Green Bay.

There's a chance Moss will end up with the Packers; I am thinking the Packers would trade no higher than a third round pick for him. There's still a chance Oakland may release Moss over the summer and save 9.7 million against the salary cap.
The only chance of Moss being traded on draft day would be if one or more teams get involved in a bidding war with the Raiders for Moss. Otherwise, if the Packers really wanted to get Moss into their camp so he can learn their offence, they may be willing to part with a pick to get Moss ten weeks earlier than if they wait for his release.
If the Raiders select Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson with the first overall pick, you can be certain Moss is as good as gone from the Raiders.

I think that this question relies heavily on the Detroit Lions. There are trade talks around about Josh McCown getting traded to the Raiders. If this happens they will take Calvin Johnson as the 1st overall pick allowing them to give Randy Moss to the Packers for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. If the Raiders are forced into taking JaMarcus Russell then he is going to need someone to throw to and the disgruntled Randy Moss will stay in Oakland.
A third scenario (unlikely but a scenario) is if a great WR like Dwayne Bowe Russell's team mate and #1 WR from LSU drops to them at the first pick in Round 2 they could still trade Moss and pick up some of the top guards coming out with Green Bay's 2nd round pick leaving the 3rd and 4th round picks to solidify the rest of the O-Line.

the last i heard is this: oakland will try to trade moss if they draft calvin johnson. this is a big rumor because johnson is a lower risk of the other draft candidates and he's the best player in the draft. in return, the packers will trade aaron rodgers (backup qb). then, both teams will swap 07 2nd round picks.
moss migh do alright in GB, but as a packers fan, i'm sick and tired of all these receivers coming and going. favre has been throwing so many interceptions because his receivers havent learned the playbook yet. that is frustrating, but we might want to consider keeping our same receivers so they can mature and learn the system. afterwards, they might shine. our 2 slot receivers arent amazing, but with all due respect, i feel they have potential if mccarthy see's their strengths. wr ruvel martin is said to have improved late last season and has improved in catching the ball. 4th wr holiday is an ex qb from notre dame. he can be used for trick plays the way antwaan randle el was for the steelers a couple years back. just a reminder for you. on top of that, moss will be an expensive receiver. i'm not all against moss, but you have to look at the pro's and con's. is he worth bringing into green bay?
if they draft jamarcuss russell, the raiders will keep randy moss.

He's ticked off they didnt sign Randy Moss, he told his agent to re-do his contract to free up the money to sign Moss. The Front Office of the packers didnt put forth enough effort to sign him. He said he wanted to be traded, but a few days later the coach talked to him and he said he was just venting. He did not retire because he thought they would sign some quality free agents and he had a shot of making it deep into the playoffs, this didnt happen so this will most likely be his last year

It ain't going to happen. I never heard a direct quote from Favre saying anything about Moss. It's complete media speculation. Moss wouldn't be worth anything higher than a 5th round. Too much of a risk and he plays with no heart. Thompson loves his picks and Davis wants way to much for a potentianal and probably headcase. Don't look for it to happen and the Packers will be better off if it doesn't.

The Raider are about to sign a young QB with a cannon for an arm. Who better than Moss who likes to go deep to accent this kid who may not have any other skills at teh pro level. .
I'm sure Favre would love to have him as would any NFL team. Moss has not even shown half his talent. Gotta get past the attittude. I don't see it happening.

From everything I've read that one is a dead deal simple because Oakland wanted way to much for him. So unless they drop their demands considerably I wouldn't bet on Moss going anywhere. Especially if you see Oakland take Russell with the first pick, they'll keep Moss.

Anywhere Moss goes he'll be a problem. You don't want a guy like that on your team, no matter what. But I'm a Raider fan so I wouldn't mind seeing him go elsewhere. I mean you already took Woodson so why not? Would you be interested in Jerry Porter too?
