Well since no one respects any resolution or law when it comes to the UN ,they don't have much contribution...But they do speak a lot about how we could bring peace to the world...unfortunately they have a few problems when it comes to acting towards achieving peace...

Long time ago, UN played the role for world peace. At present U.S is prodominent in the Organisation whether to wage war or impose sanctions on the countries which are in its bad books.

It provides a debating forum where the issues are cleverly debated, selectively highlighted and sadly undermined. The UN is a place where the trousers of the global issues are pulled down and the skirts are raised ! The UN and world peace ? What are you talking, dear ?

Which UN are you talking about the one which is high-jacked and constantly raped by US of A. And we know how much US of A is interested in world peace.

The UN, which was established in the wake of WWII, is the body that set up the Geneva conventions. The set of ethics and rules that each participating country was to follow, presumedly to avoid another holocaust. Funny enough one of the requirements of the membership in the UN is that you cannot strike upon a country that has not attcked first.
