as you get older? I really miss the large group of friends I had when i was younger. Now in my 30's I find that it's just not as easy.I think it also has to do with where you live. I've lived near Chicago for years now, but I grew up in Kentucky.I think southern people are just alot friendlier. Anyone else have this problem?

Nope .. i think it's got some thing to do with age thing .. because when we are Young .care free ..meet at certain meeting places ..ie clubs .disco.favorite cafeteria.out side cinemas ..no responsibility's .single .nothing attached ..that's what you do ..come 30 plus 85 % of the age group are fully committed ..no more hanging around ..that is why there is shortage of what you been use to..

Southern Hospitality. Yep, i know wat ur talking about. I have lived in GA for most of my life, then moved to VA =[ Once i got here, i hated it. There were so many cliques, when in GA i had so many friends, and barely any enemies. Butt once i got the fact in my head, that it's the quality of your friends that matters, and not the amount, i came to like VA a bit more. To make a long story short, just try to find some good friends, and focus on keeping them, and being urself, dont worry. If you do that, others will be attracted to u, and you'll become the center of attention once again. =]

It's not hard we just don't need a whole lot of other peoples drama in our already dramatic life, its okay to have acquaintances but a whole bunch of new best friends I don't need. Don't get me wrong I love making new relationships with people but I don't want to have their hang-ups on me.
