If i follow my budget all bills are paid and daily needs are met. If i try to get extravagant-I run short. Have been working on paying off credit card debt for almost 10 years-will be debt free by the end of this year if I cntinue the way I am currently going.

Yes. And since I don't want much, I even have enough for that. I don't use credit cards, or have debt. If I want something that's expensive, I simply work more - though sometimes I might take a little from savings if I'm convinced I can make it up and it's worthwhile.
