Maybe not at all. Some women don't feel the baby until 22-24 weeks. So if she does feel it already it's ok if she doesn't feel everyday. It's ok if she hasn't felt it at all yet.

Everyone feels different things at different times of their pregnancy there is no norm im sorry to say. It depends on where the baby is right now the baby still has lots of room to move around in. It also depends on your body size and weight and how aware of your body you are. Some days the baby may feel very active and others not so much this is completely normal! Hope this helps- you can try buying your wife a baby fetal heart monitor i got mine for $20.00 and when i get nervous i listen to the baby's heart makes me feel better. Bets of luck to you and your wife!

According to doctors I have seen, after 30 weeks you should feel the baby about once every 4hours or so, but everyone's body is different. If she is really small, she could be feeling the baby more than someone with bigger frame.
Don't worry, the baby is so small yet...only about 6 inches right now, so ask yourself, is that big enough to feel every little movement? Not likely. Your baby is surrounded by a sac full of amniotic fluid as well wich until baby gets bigger, will cushion all movement.
Good luck!

Well I am 22 wks, and I feel my baby move sometimes maybe 3-4 times a day and other times maybe 2 times. It just depends on what the woman is doing, sometimes while moving alot it soothes the baby to sleep other times when the baby moves the most is during the night when you are sleep. And if sleep, she probably don't notice it anyway.

I have felt the baby off and on from 18 weeks until now. I am 22 weeks and the baby has moved up so the feeling is a bit different now than it was a week ago. When in doubt call your nurse, nurses will always answer any question big or small you have.

Everyone is different.
I started feeling my son at 18 weeks (every once in a while) nothing steady.
Now, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and he's boucning everywhere!
Doctor said not to time the kicks until 28 weeks.
(some women dont feel the baby kick until 20-22 weeks) everyone is different.
depends on the woman and the baby :)
good luck! God bless!

Once you do start to feel the baby moving frequently, I believe it is every 4 hours that you should feel it move. I used to push on my belly if I did not feel them move for a while to make sure they were still fine. They would kick back and I would feel better. However I was further along than that I believe.
Like I said, once you feel the baby moving around on a regular basis, it is 4 hours.

About 20 weeks is when you start feeling the baby move. Its not aways easy to feel it because its still small. When she starts feeling the baby move she should feel the baby move at least once a day, she should feel it on and off all day long. If she doesnt feel it move at least once doing the day she should go to the doctor so he can listen for a heartbeat.
