I'm generally good when dining out. I was raised with some good manners. But I cannot get the hang of the twirling the spoon thing when eating spaghetti/linguini. So I do my best, but I still end up slurping the noodles.

I have pretty good table manners, but this is a funny little story. The first time I went to a really fancy restaurant, many years ago with a rich aunt and uncle, I picked up this little bowl of broth with a lemon in it and sipped. Turned out it was a finger bowl, oops..

I hate it when people bring children under 6 to a nice dinner restaurant. Inevitably, the kids run around, cry, scream, make a mess, bother the next table. I have to watch a lot of poor parenting (neglect, yanking, yelling, spanking). Get a sitter people! Or go eat at Chuck E Cheese! If your child cries, take them outside until they calm down. Yes it might ruin your dinner...but its your child! Don't ruin everyone else's dinner.
I also hate it when they take my appetizer plate before I'm finished. I like to eat my bread with dinner.
And when they understaff a place. That sucks for the waitstaff and the customers.

Using the wrong spoon or fork. Try eating a tiny gourmet size scoop of sherbert with a soup spoon. Ha! Ha!

I always unfold my napkin and place it in my lap and keep my elbows off of the table... I think I have good manners for the most part but I get tempted to sing... sometimes I do...
