Don't see the point of buying a movie you already know the ending to, but you asked....
Rocky loses, but it's still a great movie.

Gosh, there have been about 6 in the last 25 years; however, in the original movie, Rocky Balboa doesn't win his fight...the "win" in the movie is his perseverance and winning spirit to be positive in the face of adversity.

I saw the movie. I cried just like all those tear jerkers he has made. He loses but I will see the next one and he doesn't even have to fight in it . Rocky is still a great charactor fight or no fight. Win or lose. I'm buying it because I already own the other 5.

I saw it, he didn't win the fight but the movie is actually worth owning. I didn't expect much after Rocky IV and Rocky V, they were dogs. But this one has a more realistic feel, and is fun to watch.

Honestly that shouldn't have any impact on whether you watch it or not. It's a good movie, why read all these answers and ruin that part of it for yourself.
Sit, watch, enjoy and you'll know the answer in 2 hours.

The ending that actually made it to theaters was that he lost a split decision. Four endings were actually filmed, and I think the DVD will have at least one of the alternative endings.
