i heard tat dis kind of pumps r of new technology.They can pump water from sump to high level tanks without human intervention? They switch on pump by examining the water level in tanks? Is it?

That technology has been around for ages. Some are simple and some are quite complicated, I have worked on them all.

They wire 2 level switches in with the pump circuit and when the level gets below the bottom switch it makes a contact and turns on the pump. When it reaches the top level, the switch then opens and stops the pump.

There is nothing like an automatic pump, it is called as auto-level controller.

It is a very simple device, it has been in the market for years. As far as India is concerned, I have them for 15 yrs as of now. If you are staying in India go in for V-Guard (single phase), it works even for a 3-phase pump, good service backup, hassle free, and simple installation.

dat be dun wit float switch in sump. wen water in sump raise float switch, da pump turn on.

See how foolish that answer looks? But it is the correct answer.
