First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!
My wife and I retraced the steps of the places where we went when we first met. (I was visiting NYC, where she lived, and she appointed herself my tour guide. :-) There were changes in those places, but it felt right, because there were changes in us, too.
So maybe you can recreate your first date?

I still think a romantic dinner for two is the ideal way to celebrate something like this.
Combine it with a weekend away somewhere romantic, and it would be lovely.

My partner and I went to Hawaii for our 10th year. We stayed at a gay bed and breakfast near a private beach. And spent the week getting to know each other all over again.

Have a commitment cerimony if you haven't already, if you have renew your vows. Remember why you both have committed yourselves to one another.
Take a weekend getaway...a second honeymoon of sorts.
My partner and I will be celebrating our tenth year together this summer as well. Congrats!!!!

go to the very spot you met 10 years ago, look into each others eyes and see if you both remember it the same way, just start out by saying man i remember it like this, and she'll say no it was like this wasn't it...... you'll both be surprised what you both have forgot, and laugh at remembering it.................
then a good veggie pizza and some fat bastard wine.........
