Really depends on the soup and what kind of crackers I have available. Oyster crackers I never crush!

Yes, I crush up about 6-7 crackers, put them in the bottom of my soup bowl and pour the soup over them......yum!

yes- when i think of it and have them handy. Especially cream soups without much texture to them.
Soups that are already loaded with stuff (stews, really, I guess), I wouldn't.
Some people in my office crush crackers in their chili. But I don't.

No I break them up over my soup and drop them in. Acutally crushing them in the soup sounds a little messy and possibly dangerous depending on how hot the soup is LOL

Nope, I don't like my crackers to get mushy. So I take a
bite of soup and a bite of cracker. Cracker stays crunchy.

Depends on the type of soup. For thick milk/cream based soups like clam chowder, etc...YES! Chili,too!
Not in broth based ones like chicken noodle,etc though.
I put a bunch in a plastic baggie, seal it tight...and crush. That way, they get crushed without making a mess on your hands.
