so sad? They are a few wonderful people on here that are young enough to be my children & their parents have a problem with who they are. I would be so proud if they were my kids, do you think that their parents will ever realize how lucky they are & do a turn about? It has to be possible right?

Anything is possible. Not necessarily probable, but possible. We need more parents like you in this world. Can we clone you??

I think it's so sad that in this day and (usually enlightened) age, some parents can devote a lot of time and energy to teaching hatred and bigotry to their children.

I'm glad to see that more and more parents are instead teaching them truth and the value of diversity.

God has a plan for all of us. Some of us were born to be straight, and fight for justice and equality for all (waves at gits, among others). Some of us were born LGBT and fight alongside.
Others were born perfect and hate-free, but at some point learned prejudice, and chose to turn away from God's plan for them. We pray for such people to return.

Yo, G. It it was my boy, I'd whoop him within an inch of his life. Yo, son. That's the straight up truth.

what loony fantasy world do you live in? a parent has rights to their beliefs just as their kids do...if a parent doesn't want to accept their kid it's their problem not yours...just because someone is related to you doesn't mean they have to like you...and parents have a longer lifetime of prejudice and bigotry
