Flaw? How could capitalism even operate if it weren't for greed? If people didn't care about money why would they produce products? If they didn't want MORE, why would they try to outcompete others? If consumers weren't concerned about value, how could the best product actually succeed in the marketplace?
No... the problem with capitalism is that it naturally slides into tyranny. A company gets the idea that instead of making a better product, they can just force distributors to carry theirs alone. Or arrange political means to destroy their adversaries. Or otherwise just become a monopoly. Then all the promise of capitalism goes completely out the window - it's not a race where the best man wins any more, but a dirty street brawl with barbed wire and kicks in the groin.
That's the biggest flaw in capitalism - it's too easy not to play 'fair'.

Greed is not how capitalism works. By giving people the opportunity to make voluntary trades with each other, you allow them to act in their own best interest, which ultimately serves for the most efficient and fair use of a nations resources.
Capitalism allows for the greatest freedoms and prosperity that humans have ever experienced. Socialism is responsible for some of humanities greatest atrocities. Why do so many liberals blindly believe in socialism when they live with the benefits of capitalism every day? Oh I forgot, our colleges have for years only spewed rhetoric instead of encouraging critical thinking.

no.
entrenched power is what has derailed true capitalism in america.
if not for entrenched power and the filthy money and filthy politicians who take it, we would have cars that get 180 miles to the gallon or run on electricity, or perpetual energy.
read ayn rand, in the true capitalist world ALL new ideas are embraced as long as they really represent a real advancement and improvement.
in true capitalism (called objectivism) there is no room for parasitic politicians who take money to prevent road improvements from being implemented (concrete lobby prevented a major improvement from going through a few years ago that could have saved billions and caused roads to be safer and last longer).
in true capitalism there is no such thing as a 'no-bid' contract ever granted to anyone.
in true capitalism there would never be any corporate bailouts of any kind - ever. companies would either survive on their own products and wits or go the way of true capitalsim, making way for the better and smarter.
we can all ponder our navels, but when it comes to true capitalism, we're simply not doing it...

Without a doubt. Greed is capitalism's achilles heel. There are also other flaws like envy, gluttony, dishonesty, yet without a doubt greed is number one.
