I just bought a 1999 cougar and i have been driving it around a while. I went to the parking lot the other day and the Python alarm system was going and i could not turn it off. I got in the car and started it up and it was still going. It goes off when i drive and when it's parked! It just won't stop. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

There's an emergency disarm procedure using the valet switch. The valet switch should look like a small black pushbutton, and it could be placed just about anywhere but is usually mounted down under the dash somewhere. If you can locate it, you can disarm the alarm by putting your key in the ignition, turning it to the "run" position, and then pressing and releasing the valet switch.

Most auto stereo shops have the availability to fix alarm systems. You probably have a short or bad sensor, so it should be easy to fix, for a qualified tech. Take it to a shop or disconnect it before someone shoots you.

have it removed before it starts working right and leaves you stranded somewhere. it's not working right or you wouldent be able to start car.
