Just the fact that you might even suspect your wife of cheating suggests that there's probably something not quite right with your marriage, since there seems to be some trust issues.
No, do not assume your wife is cheating. First of all, vaginosis is not an STD, and you could be the one giving it to her, but not showing any symptoms.
Second of all, you should never assume anything like that. It's best to talk it out with her if you have any concerns.

You.... too many baths vs/ showers.... and her diet have everything to do with a lowered resistence to the bad bacteria inside her. She needs to stay away from sugars and carbs.... more protien & vit. C is best!! Calcium also. Do not have sex for 1 month while her body is recooping . During this time she should not douche. Later only a vinager douche is best .She may have a allergic reaction to the chemicals inside store products. This also can be a type of soap she uses for bathing. She needs to wear cotton undies not silk , lace or anything that makes her sweat more . She needs air down there. If she is cheating she will continue to get this because it is passed also by a unclean man or a man with a high yeast content ... especially if he has alot of jock itch . Her sex partner also should watch his diet until the correct balance of GOOD bacteria take over. This is what she should also try to achieve... Stay away from soda ... High in sugar .. If you both have done this you have 2 options... Someones cheating or ... there may be a clear indication to sugar diabetes and other possible health problems such as cervic cancer etc.... Stay on top of this problem... please!!!! See a doctor............

No, you shouldn't assume she is cheating since vaginosis can be cause be many factors. Having more than one sex partner is only one of about 5 or 6 possible causes. If you believe she is cheating, do a little investigating, or just come out and ask her. If you think she will lie about it, and you can't prove it, but you still think it, Use a condom and protect yourself until you know for sure rather she is being faithful or not. Good luck.

Not necessarily, please see the following:
What causes bacterial vaginosis?
The cause of bacterial vaginosis is poorly understood. But, experts have found a number of risk factors that can lead to a drop in "good" lactobacillus. (These bacteria normally keep "bad" bacteria from overgrowing in the vagina. They are different from dairy lactobacillus.) These risk factors include having multiple sex partners, having a female sex partner, recent or current infection with certain sexually transmitted diseases, douching, and intrauterine device (IUD) use.
Bacterial vaginosis is sometimes linked to hormonal changes; it is more common after menstruation. Nearly 1 in 4 pregnant women are diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis.1

Don't assume anything. Your wife's condition can be caused by other things and often medication will not clear it up the first time. I am guessing that you have other reasons to doubt your wife's fidelity and that would be the real problem. If you love your wife and are concerned about her faith fullness then rather than accuse her you need to sit down and level with her about your feelings, concerns and suspicions. Good Luck and I hope you find the truth.

Vaginosis is an infection caused by an imbalance in bacteria, not an STD.
Geez, do some research before you brand her with the scarlet A.

What causes it?
The exact cause of bacterial vaginosis is unknown. There could be a variety of causes. No single organism causes it. It is a condition in which the natural balance of organisms found in the vagina changes. The healthy vagina normally contains a variety of bacteria. One kind of bacteria, known as lactobacillus, is particularly important. Lactobacilli keep the vagina slightly acidic to help reduce the growth of potentially harmful organisms. Women who have bacterial vaginosis lose this protection and have both a large increase in the number of potentially harmful bacteria and a large decrease in the numbers of normal, protective lactobacilli in their vagina. This change in numbers and kinds of bacteria is believed to be the cause of bacterial vaginosis.

Read this below...I copy pasted it for u
If this is an infection, did I catch it from someone?
No. Bacterial vaginosis is an overgrowth of bacteria that are normally in the vagina. While it's more common in women who are sexually active, it also occurs in women who are not sexually active. It's not usually necessary for your sex partner to be treated.
