Shame on Kim Bassinger as well for making a family issue public, she's the real "pig" in my opinion. We all know Alec has a hot temper, but Kim seems to be working under malice and media manipulation.
Also, I've been called worse by my folks!

You assume she is the one who leaked it. It might have been her lawyers without her knowing it, or it might have been Ireland. Personally if I were in his daughter's shoes the first thing I would have done it leak it.
A hot temper is no excuse for speaking to a child the way he did. That is not the right way to discipline a child, and I am very sorry if your parents have treated you this way. It is flat out wrong to call your child names and swear at them like that.

Maybe she is a rude pig. How do you know? Obviously, since this tape was released Bassinger is playing mind games and is manipulating events. This has probably been an ongoing thing and Balwin blew up and she got the reaction she wanted and on tape to boot. This is a private domestic concern and who are we to judge them especially without the full story. Obviously the people in this forum don't have kids or must have perfect ones. Many teenagers and pre-teens need straightening out, it is an age old thing. Obviously, he did not take the high road and definately did not choose his words wisely. So he will pay for it. But Bassinger is not teaching her to respect her father. She is putting her child in the middle of the battle with her hate for Baldwin

Couldn't agree with you more. Basinger is working under malice and media manipulation. Baldwin, however, needs to control himself and not get so upset after Kim's malicious doings. As a side note, I grew up near Alex Baldwin. Didn't know him, but I know a few who knews his brothers. The Baldwins grew up across the street from the Nassau Shores golf course in Massapequa. So I'm bias in this celebrity love gone wrong story.

If Bassinger released that message then she's being a vindictive b*tch. You take something like that to court not to the media. If you go through a bitter divorce and even if you hate each other you should shield your children from it and do what's in the best interest of the kids. Using your children as pawns is a sign of azzhole-ism.

if anything, this will enrage him even more. He sounds like an abusive idiot. No wonder she left him. I just hope he doesn't end up doing something awful to Kim now.
