Because some people have this idea that by knowing the future of the day they can better prepare themselves for it. They try to avoid the things they don't like about their horoscope. It also give some people a sense of control in their lives, or make them realize how predicted life can be. They also think it's something that's a divine gift.
By the way, it's not Witchcraft....boy you have a lot to learn about things.

If you learn about where all your planets are and which houses they in, it kinda rings true to me. Just like Christianity, judaism, islam or which other belief system you belong to it has to make sense to the person. i'm not saying read the paper and your an aries so all aries are going to have a great day kinda stuff, the sun sign is purely your ego or your first reaction to a situation. I'm talking really delve into it, what you find is that we are all different and the effect of the planet are very important to who we are and what we have to learn in this life.
I don't know what do I know I'm just a bloke looking to make sense of the now

I read my horoscopes on a daily basis and it's for entertainment value. Sometimes, it's dead on true but other times it's full of rubbish.

I normally don't. They're just fun to read.
*There IS this one woman (Alisson Moroney) who seems to be right on with regard to all of the dog poop which I've been experiencing lately, though.
*The, "...you'l marry a lingerie model with a black belt and graduate degree ..." type predictions are ludicrous, but still worth a smile.
*Oh yeah, ALL of the astrologists missed the catastrophic failure of my garage door last month.

usually after i know a person, i try to find out, curious to see how well matches traits (even though i a w male, i think girls ask more about, as side talk lol)

I dont cuz check it out...buy a news paper and look at yours...then go to yahoo and look at yours...then go to msn and look at yours...they are all different, there's no way they can have any truth to them...they are nothing but lucky guesses.

They're fun to read and to compare yourself with... but I wouldn't base my life's decisions on them.

I like to read them. Alot of the time they r bull**** and sometimes they come true (half way).
